The PRO FACTOR was designed for use as the switching device for capacitor bank energizing in power factor correction systems.

The PRO FACTOR control system uses a high performance digital signal processing scheme which controls the capacitor switching process and offers advanced protection functions. On this way, the PRO FACTOR utilization is extremely advantageous when compared to the contactor based capacitor switching scheme normally utilized.
